As the Social Media Manager, you’ll oversee the team and partner with them to strategize, execute and analyze all campaigns to ensure creative and communications reflect the Company accurately. We’re looking for a proven social strategist with experience building and nurturing fast growing social communities. Our ideal candidate has managed social efforts in a retail environment, loves analyzing campaign performance and has their thumb on the latest social trends. They understand the intricacies of each social channel and can optimize strategy and messaging to effectively engage the audience. We want a go-getter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can leverage available resources to make a big impact.


  • Oversee strategy and development of all social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.), including publishing, editorial calendars, agency relationships and work with the Social Media Influencer Partnerships team
  • Lead all social content strategy development to support “always on” and go-to-market campaigns
  • Lead social & community content planning and development of assets across social platforms with a focus on storytelling and sensational content & video; collaborate closely with Creative and Brand Marketing to ensure alignment with brand /campaign look and feel
  • Manage briefings and relationships with internal stakeholders across a multitude of departments as well as external partners such as licensors, record labels, movie studios and vendors for all social programs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize KPIs (e.g., EMV, social following, engagement, conversion etc.), and re-evaluate or audit for new metrics when needed; provide learnings to share insights
  • Track and monitor KPIs in “real time” to adjust or pivot strategies, tactics and content development as needed; synthesize analytics to inspire new ideas
  • Monitor any and all available competitive data to analyze competitors’ effectiveness, in order to stay ahead of the industry
  • Serve as brand’s key social strategist and subject matter expert; stay relentlessly up-to-date on emerging and future trends, both within and outside of the industry, to identify or grow business opportunities
  • Understand and advocate early adoption of relevant new platforms and technologies, consistently bringing them to the cross-functional team for brainstorming or execution to further business objectives


  • BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent preferred
  • At least 4 years of direct social media experience with proven track record preferably in retail / fashion and or entertainment / brand franchises 
  • Demonstrated experience in digital environments with a focus on social, content and digital campaign development
  • Advanced writing and editorial skills with utmost attention to detail
  • Comprehensive, nuanced understanding of all social platforms, including emerging platforms
  • Creative sensibility and keen eye for “look and feel” through a lens of pop culture and trends; editorial storytelling experiences a big plus
  • Results-driven with ability to analyze data and deduce implications for social and engagement strategies
  • Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues
  • Strong leadership skills, managing multiple direct reports
  • Well-honed public speaking skills with the ability to lead meetings and presentations
  • Highly motivated problem-solver and self-starter; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of pop culture, entertainment and fashion is strongly encouraged
  • Open to working nights & weekends and the ability to travel to events when needed (e.g. conventions, festivals etc.)
