The Social Media Specialist will manage and report on BoxLunch’s presence in social media/internet communities, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube to generate brand awareness, opportunities, and more effectively connect with customers on all social platforms. Collaborate with cross functional partners, external agencies and influencers to develop engaging social content that are optimized based on platform needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create and maintain the social media content calendar and track creative briefs for content and campaign assets
  • Responsible for owned social media reporting, analyzing and communicating results
  • Participates in the development and implementation of social media strategy and content, ensuring alignment with the brand and business goals
  • Proactively seeks and disseminates content from the various networks that could be used for marketing, product development, business development, etc
  • Independently writes, edits and publishes social media content relevant to brand and in response to theatrical releases, pop culture moments or build brand awareness
  • Monitors and reports on social activity on external social channels, blogs, websites and forums; participates in the conversation as needed. Maintains constant communication with customers, identifies solutions and proactively addresses customer service issues on social media channels
  • Assists in maintaining and creating relationships with influencers for content needs
  • Keeps current of social media and industry trends for the BoxLunch brand
  • Partners with marketing, merchandising and ecommerce to assist in campaign and content development; maintains close relationships with key merchant team members to provide timely product coverage
  • Creates and maintains a social media calendar and tracks creative briefs for campaign assets with execution support of Social Media Coordinator. Responsible for ensuring the content fits the strategy and business goals
  • Coordinate and execute sweepstakes prizing and fulfillment and legal contracts
  • Works flexible hours to assist in achieving efficient coverage monitoring influencer activations or cover various events to generate content
  • As part of the Brand Marketing Department, drives incremental sales, comp goals, and productivity through creation and support of marketing initiatives, processes, and brand goals
  • Performs other job duties as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Brainstorm new and creative ways to amplify content and increase engagement
  • Must be well-versed in various social spaces/communities, and brand/customer focuses such as pop culture, entertainment and fashion
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize under tight and changing deadlines
  • Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills
  • Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, ensuring all customer feel seen and heard 
  • Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator
  • Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues
  • Strong ability to multi-task and seamlessly move from project to project
  • Experience in content creation and providing direction for content development
  • Previous experience in managing budgets for content creation with agencies and influencers preferred
